A weighing type color masterbatch meter is a device specifically designed for the plastic processing industry to accurately measure and control the amount of color masterbatch (i.e. concentrated plastic particles containing pigments or other additives) added. This device ensures that the colorants are accurately added to the base resin in the predetermined ratio during the production process, thereby ensuring the color consistency and physical properties of the final product.

working principle

The weighing type color masterbatch meter mainly monitors the weight changes of the color masterbatch through a weighing sensor, in order to accurately control the amount of color masterbatch added. When the system detects that the weight of the colorant has decreased to the preset value, it will activate the colorant supply mechanism until the next preset value is reached. This process can be automatically completed through an electronic control system, ensuring that the amount of color masterbatch added each time is very precise.

Main components

1. Storage hopper: Used to store colorants to be used, different types of hoppers may be equipped according to different application requirements.                                                                                                                    2. Weighing sensor: installed below the storage hopper, used to monitor the weight changes of the color masterbatch in real time.                                                                                                                                              3.
